Afternoon all .
We are away spending a few days away in Bideford . I do like Devon and we havnt been in quite a while .Spent the morning in Appledore before popping over on the ferry to Instow for a hour or so. Worse ways to spend a day 😀.

Also worse views from your bedroom window than this too. 😀

Have you thought of a river cruise? Smaller ships (150 px) and nearer scenery. We’ve done a couple now, Douro and Rhine/Mosel, and really enjoyed the slow pace and pampering. We went with Riviera Travel

Thanks for this suggestion but Mrs G does not fancy that.

That is where I was till this morning. Just spent one week there at our daughter's . Great bike ride on the Tarka trail if you can but it can get very busy with walkers too.

Cheers, we are looking to hire bikes later in the week if the weather plays ball ( we had talked about bringing bikes but there was no secure bike storage ). Mrs exlaser and I have just been talking about the last time we cycled on the Tarka trail to Instow and Bideford from Barnstable. We had taken our own bikes and our daughter was on a tag along bike so she must have been about 4 years old, (she was 29 earlier this year ! .) Time definitely moves along doesn’t it. 😀

Good morning, another sunny day ahead. Last month was very good for the solar panels, almost 800kWh from a 5.25 kW array ☀️
Mrs Tkk ordered a " lazy susan " type gizmo for the fridge. It arrived with a piece broken off ( plastic construction packed in a large padded envelope). She returned it to Joseph and Joseph and was going to get a replacement when she saw that she could get it from JL and at a cheaper price. ( All that convoluted explanation is just to explain that I will shortly be walking to Wimborne to collect it from the Waitrose store 😁)

Good morning all.
We had a lovely day down on the coast in Sussex yesterday.
The sun is shining this morning and it's due to be quite warm, 21⁰ before the rain comes back tonight and tomorrow.
The bins are out awaiting emptying, not Whelshie's bins that is.
The washing machine is doing its stuff at the moment then later I'll cut the grass again and do some general gardening duties.

Good morning. 'Tis a glorious day in Lancashire. Warm, sunny and no breeze. #2SP today so I must dash as I need to leave in 40 minutes.

Things can be strange. I recently bought a Xiaomi watch. Love it. It's comfortable enough to wear at night meaning I can monitor my sleep. If the device is reasonably accurate it seems I sleep much better than I thought. In some odd way when I wake in the middle of the night this encourages me to go back to sleep. Weird.

How it calculates this stuff is beyond me.

Anyway must dash. 👋

I just checked out the Xiaomi web site and looked at the watches. Excellent specs and a very reasonable price. I'm in the Garmin ecosystem for my running activities, they've been resting on their laurels lately and pushing up the prices to silly levels. Brands such as Xiaomi are underrated, they make good inexpensive phones too.
