Mrs Tkk will be away for a few weeks soon. I plan to have a bash at the Michael Moseleys " Fast 800 " diet while she's away.

I need to do something drastic too. I intended June to be a better month but I’ve already had a couple of days of massive binges. If anything it’s getting worse.

Never mind, riverside trail walked and a few little jogs thrown in.

It’s brightening up now and looks like being a decent day.

Morning all :hello:

Bloods at 10am then hopping on the train to Minehead for lunch.
Got the lawns trimmed and cut yesterday and had our first strawberries of the year from strawberry bed.
Had an hour in my workshop and fabricated a nice adjustable pin wrench out of some scrap steel I had lying around; is there no end to my talents?

Good morning. Bright sunny and breezy which is a bit of a surprise as it rained all night. I know this as I've been awake most of it. I've dreamed I'm living in a canoe in flooded Britain. I have a month of food left and I'm following the Pennines north hoping I'll find a Spar shop on higher ground. Yep. That was my sleep.

I'm heading out to meet a friend for coffee. We've picked Roots cafe as it's midway from home. Sixteen miles each way for me. I'll make it a straightforward out and back.

Bugger. Just had a rain shower which has stopped and brightening up so washing can go out but grass is now soaked and may not dry by this afternoon to cut. I can do tomorrow but that'll be post ride and I'm planning on a decent one so I'll be weary. These damn first world problems.
Woe is me....

Weight loss!

I have been working hard to put it on.

Normal weight 170 lbs. Lost around 10lbs during chemo round 1 and since been at home for 11 days have managed to get back to my normal weight by eating absolute crap.

Consultant and hospital dietician both told me to get anything down me to build up weight prior to chemo round 2 (26 days worth) and don't worry about healthy eating right now.

The chemo tears through energy stores at an alarming rate and I need to be fatted up to stop myself getting more emaciated than I need to be.

Only bummer is, round 1 stripped mainly muscle as I was not carrying much fat and I have replaced it with blubber. Cest la vie.

Hopefully I will be able to rebuild properly at some stage in the future.

I still can't believe I am having this 'conversation'!

Have a good day all.

Just in England and Wales. Just £100 up here unless you are on pension credit. What they were going to save by removing it was still much less than the cost of locating illegal immigrants in hotels. Need to get their priorities sorted!
We used to have a deal to send them back . We lost that in 2020 when we left the EU. Not saying any more .
