Major hose on the pool blew up last night… perhaps I should do something about that as right now it filters the water and shoots it out onto the lawn… I don’t think that’s right. Oh well…

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Weight loss!

I have been working hard to put it on.

Normal weight 170 lbs. Lost around 10lbs during chemo round 1 and since been at home for 11 days have managed to get back to my normal weight by eating absolute crap.

Consultant and hospital dietician both told me to get anything down me to build up weight prior to chemo round 2 (26 days worth) and don't worry about healthy eating right now.

The chemo tears through energy stores at an alarming rate and I need to be fatted up to stop myself getting more emaciated than I need to be.

Only bummer is, round 1 stripped mainly muscle as I was not carrying much fat and I have replaced it with blubber. Cest la vie.

Hopefully I will be able to rebuild properly at some stage in the future.

I still can't believe I am having this 'conversation'!

Have a good day all.

My thoughts are with you Spokey.

had an arrangement to meet up with the woman who runs the local FoodBank this morning

they need the graphics for the place changing and some of teh documentation has to be changed to use a different - but very similar - font
all due to legal changes and stuff

They are there to give food to people who can;t afford it
why does the bloomin' font matter for f***s sake!!!

but it has to be done

weird

You gotta wonder sometimes. Organisational skills can be lacking in some folk. I feel we could agree the majority of cyclists are male, many of them will be fathers and given our age will have adult children. In my experience adult children are good about celebrating Mother and Father's Day.

This coming Sunday, June 15th, is Clarion Sunday, the largest annual gathering of Clarion cyclists and choirs. This is held at Clarion House, Roughlee, Lancashire. There is no easy way to cycle to Roughlee. It's bloody hard from every direction.

I quite fancy going...........guess what other event takes place this Sunday? Father's Day.

Somebody forgot to check the calendar!!!!!!
