We were forecast heavy thundery showers, when I cycled up the road the rain was do heavy it evaporated as soon as it landed on me.😁

Just as the rain stopped, I arrived at Mounts Pool for a swim.. 🏊

1km today and a free bus journey there & back using my ol' fsrts bus pass 👍

So it’s the light that needs power, with the switch anywhere nearby, right?

Our challenge was the first (wrong!) sparky thought the wiring in the attic of a thatch was 100% bad.
Sure, it isn’t ideal…but provided it is checked and wiring is not chewed…..

Yes, the receiver module sits by the fitting, the switch can go anywhere in range. ( quite a distance if necessary). Both the switch and the modules come with both screws and rawlpugs and 3M double sided adhesive strips.

I have seen this many times

only in one or two of the local "Turkish Barbers" - but a couple are actually quite busy
the rest seem to be inhabited by a couple of people who appear to be of middle Eastern heritage - possibly Turkish
who just sit around talking

and it is all rather dimly lit

RIgth checked th weather this morning and roan was promised
lots of it


and it arrived - about 17 drops although it might have been up to 20 or so as I dozed off for a bit


anyway - I have heard that the wetness was coming up from the south and as it passed over West Wales all the moisture got absorbed by a washing line full of flannelette bloomers
so when the air arrived over here it was much dryer than expected


anyone else heard the same thing????

Where I live the road is a kind of horseshoe shape, it goes nowhere and there is only one way in and out.
Someone is going to do some work at the bottom of the road, there is a short spur that is a dead end.
So 3 way temporary lights have been installed to control the immense amount of traffic that is expected.
More elf and safety stupidity.
