Done walking, 100 yards down the road it started to drizzel, I nearly turned back, but carried on regardless.

Just checked my horoscope of 3 different sights
I have proof they are rubbish

why I heard you all ask

well on the 20th JUNE I put in a prescription for some gluten free bread - Warburtons white rolls - which I am entitled to as I have Coeliac disease

It was approved and I checked that the pharmacy got it on teh same date
as well as another prescription for Wholemeal seeded loaves from another bakery which they also received the same day
They said they would order them the next morning

The next Tuesday - as expected - the loaves arrived and I got them and put them in the freezer
The Warburtons rolls were not there

well today - after over a month - they have arrived!!!

and my horoscope didn;t sa anything about expecting a surprise or bold from the blue!!!

Honestly - it is a pain
time before last I got the loaves SIX weeks late - and then got twice as much in spite of the pharmacy checking and they had not ordered the second lot - which in any case were wrong
and the rolls arrived with 3 times the quantity

it looks like it is the middle company that is the problem - I have checked with the bakeries and they see no problems and have provided me and the pharmacy with dates and all sorts showing they have had no problems
but the wholesalers say the delays are due to "a problem at the bakery" - which seem to be rubbish

and anyway - the NHS boards are starting to remove the ability to get it anyway - area by area so it doesn;t get raised in Parliament on the papers too much

but if they are going to do it - then do it properly for Pete's sake!!!

Just been onto Love to Ride to join the Cycle September thing

realised that I have nearly reached 10,000 miles on it since I started
it is connected to Strava so all the rides where I use Strava go to it automatically

thing is - I got my 10,000 mile badge several years ago
when I did a ride that started about 100 miles directly south of the Bering Strait seperating Alaska from Russia
then went directly across the American continent passing through Canada and the USA
then to the Bridgewater canal and along to Warrington then back to Widnes

which came to over 10,000 miles in one day - the first few second of which I REALLY pushed my limits!!
but it did get me my 10,000 badge

eitehr that or the GPS on my phone went a bit screwy??

anyway - I corrected the ride but Love to Ride had to be corrected via an email to them for some reason
and apparently once you get a badge it is a pain to remove it so I kept it on their suggestion

well soon (ish - probably this year) I should actually deserve it!!!

I've just read that Ozzy Osborne has died.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cn0qq5nyxn0t

Glad he managed that final concert - at least he got to say goodbye in a proper manner

he has been looking close to it for ages now - and probably cheated it more times than is normal

but sad to see he had gone
