I had fish & chips with mushy peas, not from the chip shop either, all cooked my me
Funny sort of day as it is cloudy, but quite warm at 25c

You did your own mushy peas ??

Just come back from taking the grand kids other grandparents to Manchester Airport

turns out that we are also picking them up

which is weird as that was the first I had heard of it!!

they specifically confirmed that I was picking then up at home today at 12:30 - no mention of anything else

One, has to open ones can and then microwave them
Actully one can does for two meals so I half the contents,
the rest I put on a plastic container and put it in the freezer.

SWMBO likes them "done properly"
but as I don't like them - especially done properly - she puts up with frozen ones
but they still take a while to cook and you need to keep a damn close eye on them to stop them boiling dry and burning!

Mushy peas are the work of the culinary devil, and have no place on any plate or meal.🤮
In my humble opinion.
