Just reading sad news on Facebook. A man from my old village who I knew growing up has died. He was only 62. I knew he had been diagnosed with MND but it must have advanced very quickly. Bloody horrible disease.

Good morning all fellow retirees.
It's a sunny start to the day here, warm temperatures and no rain forecast.
Shame about the shortened Tour stage, due to disease in cattle in the area.
All the usual stuff to do today, but I probably will manage a short bike ride at some point, as my prescription should be ready for collection today and it's a couple of miles, mostly uphill to the pharmacy I use.
Millie's walking has improved after the plasma treatment into her spine and the first round of acupuncture this week at the vets. 😁 so goid news there. She is nearly 14 now but we'll take any improvement at the moment.
My new knee continues to get better, I've been working on building the muscle up and the last couple of days I can now get up and down stairs without the minor discomfort due to the weight bearing on the new joint.😁
Enjoy your day everyone :cuppa:

Morning.
Lovely day. Shame I'll be spending most of it driving to London. Eldest has finished her post grad degree so we're moving her out of flat.
So it's the bright lights of the big city for the weekend. I'm also struck by the masses of humanity in London, so diverse especially compared to our little backwater.
London is fun to visit but I couldn't live there.
