Years ago I had a girlfriend with a teddy on her tummy - was rather nice, tbh.

Might look a bit different now over 50 years later!

Probably looks like roadkill now!

Washing machine has (I thought) packed in !!
Sue used to do all that......I just did whatever manual stuff she instructed me to do. So, when I went in and all the flashing lights were off I thought the worst.
Turned out to be the plug fuse....phew.
Replaced the fuse and it just carried on from where it left off......who knew that

Probably looks like roadkill now!

My first wife saw her (they knew each other) about 20 years ago and reportedly; a very good looking girl (slim, blonde, blue eyed) has turned into a very large mother of four! That poor little teddy must definitely look like roadkill by now.

I think SWMBO is being unreasonable

a couple of day ago I got home from a ride and found I had somehow cut my leg
sort of like a slice - not very deep but far more blood than is normal due to some tablets I take

anyway - I cleaned it up and put a plaster on it

which soaked through so I took it off and put another on
at bedtime I took that off and put another on to be sure I wouldn;t end up with blood over the sheets (I tend to scrawp around in bed!)
then took it off next morning
and put another on last night because my bath has taken the scab off and the sheets were at risk again

anyway - the point is that I am a man and don't shave my legs
hence all this involves hair and plasters

and, for some reason, SWMBO thinks this is funny
AND has turned down my suggestion that I deserve a bravery award!!!!

The last time I had a knee opp, I knew I would have to have a dressing on it for a couple of weeks.
So I preempted the pain. I shaved that part of my leg 😂😂

The C70 is, thankfully, tucked up snug and warm in the carcoon with 4 brand new and fully inflated tyres.

The vehicle in distress is Mrs D's MG ZS EV Trophy+ Long Range (worlds longest car name.)

Now back at Krap Fart and they tell me it'll be the next one in. Can't grumble, it's busy and we landed without an appointment

The last time I used them in Northampton, it was lunchtime and I had come over from Coventry to pick up my daughter from uni. They confirmed I did have a screw in the tyre and if I could come back the NEXT afternoon they would fix it . ☹️
I declined their very kind offer and drove home very carefully to Coventry . Then went round the corner to my local independent tyre place and they fixed there and then . They are really good, I once turned up dead on closing time with a flat road trailer tyre and because we were intending to have a very early start to get to Scotland ,they stayed open and fixed for us. 😀

Oh, and they did the front wheels alignment. Pretty pointless with one new tyre and one half worn tyre, but its an easy line on the invoice for the lease company.

Im not a fan of Kwap Sheet, but thats who the lease firm used. To be fair to them they were rammed when we arrived and could hardly expect them to allow us to jump a queue over people who had arrived before us or who had appointments. It's hardly their fault they were busy, and he was honest from the start about a 2-3 hour wait. If I didnt get it done then id only have to return another day.

Anyway, they went as fast as the union mandated Greggs breaks permitted.

Yesterday I took my youngest back to London as he couldn’t get in to the pop up store in Coal Drops Yard, had supper in Camden and home at 10.00pm

Today up at 3.30am drove my wife and daughter down to St Pancras for a 6.15am departure to Amsterdam, got home at 6.30 and fortunately managed to grab 2 hours sleep.

Worked this morning, took my MIL to a doctors appointment this afternoon, made a chicken casserole for my son and I for supper. Now I’ve hit the wall!
