Off to Minehead on the train this morning; bit of shopping and lunch in Wetherspoons.
£750 on PB this month - not bad.

Off to court this morning but just to have a look and see the process and hopefully watch a few trials prior to me going as a witness later in month.
Nothing on Premium Bonds which is obviously a disappointment but also quite unusual as it's a rare month I don't win a few 100

Yep, I'm the same. Whatever the NHS offers me I'm happy to have. I also feel children should receive what's on offer but that's another conversation altogether.

I always remember at school the "hard kids" coming back, sometimes in tears, moaning that their arms hurt where the needle went in.
I'd had more than my share of needles in the arms at that age.

I'm with Mo. After the Covid debacle, they can stick their injections where the sun don't shine.. I don't trust any of them.

Talking of sticking something there, makes me think back to a prisoner we had who had particularly bad fits and I remember being with the nurse a few times giving her rectal valium! I wasn't always convinced that some of her fits were genuine and she hadn't become good at faking it for a fix.

I had intravenous valium once for a minor surgical procedure years ago. It was wonderful. 🥳

Currently at Kwap Fit. Came out of hossy to a flat tyre. Close examination revealed a nail well entrenched in the tread, and from the look of things had been there a while.

No spare, but got some air into it with the on board pump and even without restoring to goo it got me to Kwik Fit.

The only good news is a) it's Mrs D's lease car and we don't pay for the new tyre, and b) I'm now in Morrisons cafe eating cake and sipping coffee.

Is anyone else having a bit of a problem with the site this morning?
A lot of the time a get a moving red line at the top of the screen and it is very slow to connect to a thread or a forum, if it connects at all.
This appears to be an ongoing issue as it started back in July.

I have just been trying to check if I have won the PB this month
which would be about the first this year!

and it won;t let me on the site -

I am assuming that this is because I have won The Big One and they need to come round and tell me in person!

I stopped wearing my earrings when I started growing hair in my ears.

Very sensible.

I stopped wearing mine when I when I was 18 - had it done when I was 15 as a protest to my mum who would not let me have a tattoo!
