Good morning. Bright, sunny and warm darn surf. The forecast is good till around 4.00pm when we are promised heavy showers. I'm sure Mrs P will have today's cultural excursions to account for this.
I'm "enjoying" a
Travelodge coffee in a quiet corner of their cafe. Top husbanding as
@ebikeerwidnes put it. Mrs P is still sleeping. I suppose I could wander round the corner to Pret but it will be expensive and might involve very sticky calorie laden buns. I'm rather pleased I've managed to control the calorie intake so far.
I think we're going to the Courtauld Gallery this morning. This is also top husbanding, though our marriage has reached the stage when if I'm bored I'm allowed to find a comfy chair! 🤣 Old Masters isn't really my thing. Modern art, impressionists and so on I can get into but not the classical stuff. Frameless yesterday was for me.
I am also missing Rovers at home. This is extreme top husbanding.
