Good morning all.
The first of the bin lorries has just come down our road.
Later on this morning I am meeting up with the Codgers group of retired Railway men for breakfast/brunch at a garden centre in Enfield. :hungry:. It's one of the monthly meetings where we can remanice and generally chat about anything that comes to mind.

Morning.
Glorious day.
Washing is on to take advantage of the drying weather. Yep life in the fast lane.
Not sure on plans, I usually hit the weights on Monday so it's that unless I ride.

Like @Binky the washing machine is doing its stuff, it's making some strange noises though🤔

The machine or a loose zip etc on clothing? Issue is with modern washing machines they aren't very home maintainance friendly. In the past i've changed belts, brushes on motors, even bearings but the latest ones are sealed units. Also, somewhat indicative of the modern "throwaway" age, it's often cheaper to just buy a new one!

Or a coin being thrown around?

Hello all.
After (for me) a late night watching the golf I slept in till 08.00 this morning.
Just enjoyed a coffee followed by a glass of milk AND a big ginger stem cookie.
Quite pleasant out there and I might get a stroll in once the legs get working.
My days of.........
Collecting/minding grandchildren....
Planting fruit trees
Carrying alcohol
Fixing washing machines
Have all gone. I now get tired by reading other people's exploits..

Only 1 request........@Paulsb, can you ask the grandchildren to keep the noise down please.....thank you.
