Morning all :hello:

After yesterday's ride out on the Barracuda, I parked it in my workshop - only to go back later to find a pool of oil under the right hand fork leg. Hey ho!
Anyway, I set about it straight away...

New oil seal ordered and I'll get it back together for next week.
There's always something to keep you busy with an old British bike.

On a ride last week at a regular coffee stop a few bikers were there and one of them on an immaculate Suzuki GT380 (yeah I know, not a "proper" bike) but it's one I had back in the day. Brought back some memories from the 70s!

They are the bikes fetching the money now, a good example of 70's/80's Japanese bike can command a high price.

I always bought Triumph/Norton/BSA twins in my early 20's as they were cheap and all I could afford, I always wanted a Z1 Kawasaki but I think they were nearly a grand whereas I paid £500 for my 850 Commando for example.

If anyones got any spare cash a couple of Joey Dunlops TT winners are coming up for auction : estimate of £100,000 for his winning 1988 Honda RC30

I still iron my shirts, polo shirts and Tee shirts before wearing them i can't stand creases where creases shouldn't be. I also have a couple of pairs of linen summer trousers that crease badly. They get a quick press before wearing them.

In my gaff, if it's flat it gets ironed including my undies

Late in class today, soz.
Woke up groggy, I feel drugged. At least when I was drinking I had something to blame it on !
Like Gavroche I am at the hairdresser this morning, mine is 10.30.
I might then nip to the local Heron store as I need a few bits and they are cheap.
