Dark outside but sounds wet. We're forecast for 5% rain, cloud and 10mph gusting to 20. Winter cycling weather. Today we start our winter hills. We stay close to home on short, lumpy rides. I say "short," today's route is 47 miles, and I have a 20 mile round trip to the start/finish. I might look for an early drop off point.

Good film at our little club last night. The Apprentice about Trump's early life.

I had an excellent afternoon with #1SP. We are big, big friends but since she started school I've only seen her once instead of every week. I'm very happy to know the bond is still there. I see her briefly when I collect her sister, when she always tickles me, this happened yesterday. I realise now she's dropped hugs and the tickling is a spontaneous "hug." I haven't worked out why.

Went to the pic's to see Apprentice last year and it was good. Fascinating to see what events shaped the younger man.

Tomorrow I have my bloods being taken at 09.45.
I need the audiology to at least look at my hearing aid as its packed in.
They can do that at 08.45.
TBH it's a horrible journey in the rush hour traffic but that's the only time they can offer me.

I'm about to do mine. I've got 26 windows in total but there's 2/3/4 panes in each so I reckon about 100 panes in total to do!

Back from Aldi.
I also went to Home Bargains, mainly for bulk bird food. We have 3 feeding stations and as we back onto the park (with a brook) we get lots of birdies which give me lots of pleasure.

I ordered a new phone last night via AO. I didn't pay extra for quick delivery so was promised 3 days, which is fine.
Just got back to find the phone has been delivered that's 15 hours/overnight with free delivery.
Do you think that, if I HAD paid extra it would have arrived 2 days before I ordered it .

I have approx 15 plus a full glass conservatory, a double sliding patio door and a glass front door.
I pay a guy £15 every 2 weeks. He uses a pole thingy and does a very thorough job.
Money well spent in my case.

There's a notice up in the village saying the Circus is coming, I wonder if Reeves will turn up

Its supposed to be 18° here but it doesn't feel anything near that. I wore a lightweight jacket.
