I have risen!

well that's annoying

when the patio was "done" a year or so ago the men working at the front had a tendency to hang their coats on our front light

since then when it rains the contact breaker for the downstairs light sometimes - i.e. not very often - trips

we tonight it did it again but has refused to reset for more than a few minutes

I have switched the front light off which normally fixes, but this time is hasn't

so we have left it as is until tomorrow when I will take the thing apart and see if I can fix it or isolate the wires

I suspect we need a new light!

(I also suspect I should have done something about it before now!!!)

I am sat here with 2 Mancs

Some years ago SWMBO's nephew was in hospital for some tests and they said he needed a very minor brain operation

Clearly it was very worrying for everyone and lots of questions were asked
but it seemed like the best route and the patient was also OK with it

everyone was happy and the doctor asked if there were any questions
I was sort of sitting at the back but had asked a few question for clarify things

just to finish things off I asked
"sorry - I'm just thinking - when you operate - he is actually an Everton supporter -could you fix that as well??"

the patient burst in laughter and then told me to f*** off!!
