G'day all.
Somebody forgot to tell our weather that it's supposed to be a bright start .
Its a tv sports day for me with an old friend** who is a lifelong Manu fan coming to watch Lpool show them how it should be done.
**old as in we've been friends a long time.

Morning all . We made it back home ….. with a boat 😀. But not the one I posted the picture of. The deck looked great as were the sails . The dagger board and rudder put the first doubt in my mind as the bottom edges looked like they had been worked over with a corse file ( it’s a sign the owner has been less than carful when coming back in to shore) . Then Mrs exlaser called be over , she had been checking under the front of the boat . The boat had a 10 mm hole in it 😳. We made our excuses and left .
The one I have bought is a bit older and a little rough round edges but it seems a genuine boat and the price was right too , saved myself nearly a grand over buying the first one. Which means I have spare cash to use to put right any faults that might show up or a new sail if I want one .
The boats is actually the one I’ve been using as my profile pic for the last few days so I don’t even have change that lol . I was aiming to rig it all up today but its look like it’s going to be very wet this morning so it might not happen .

Yuck. Wind and rain and not really due to change a lot for next week or so.
Managed all my jobs yesterday bar getting out for a ride. Little chance today so could be the dreaded T word.

Good morning all, no rain as yet but I can see the gathering clouds to the west so it's not far off.
I should be able to get the dog walk done before the rain starts.
Our son is calling in for breakfast on his way to the Spurs v Aston Villa game, he parks here and can get a bus to Tottenham from the top of the road.

Well I was planning on going out for another ride today

but yesterday I noticed that the "Dinky Cafe Boat" that goes round the local canal had cancelled today as it was due to rin all day

and I have just looked at the forecast it looks like this will be true and start in an hour or so

and anyway I think I might have said I will catch up with the ironing today
and I have a thing to get sorted in Powerpoint for a talk I am doing for AgeUK on Tuesday

so I suppose I better do them!

Good morning from a wet Dorset. Ankle is a little sore after my trek across the heathland a couple of days ago so I will take it easy. Mrs Tkk is heading to Big Tesco with her shopping trolley, not sure what we need as we have enough provisions to last months, perhaps she's secretly become a " Prepper "

Wet today so kitty is staying in to watch cartoons - she has her own tiny laptop !

Checking the wildlife cameras overnight recordings this morning. We've recently are being visited by a young fox, lithe enough to fit through the hedgehog highway opening in the fence. There's a clip of the fox entering the garden in the early hours. A short while later there's a clip of him making a rapid exit through the same opening being pursued by a large fluffy black cat 😁

We get several foxes and a lone Badger that dug under the fence at the bottom of the garden. It's quite large so I expect it is a male. It eats the bird seed and mealworms that the birds drop from the feeders.
