Afternoon folks 
lovely day for a spin but was parky first thing...i had plenty of base layers so was warm there but felt like i had a ice cube tray atop my head even wearing a beanie 
Did most of my front garden fencing and it looks really smart, kind of enhances the bed by the fence framing it, will finish next week as ive ordered up another 10 meters.
Oh i forgot! had a weird dream where the roads were ruled by cyclists and everything was prioritised for 2 wheels.
i pedalled along a main road and there was a turbo lane....i wondered what that was so got onto it and suddenly i accelerated 40...50....60mph 
the road surface was a moving rubber belt which shot one too the horizon!

I see one of my neighbours from a few doors along has died. He had MND. He was 72 which doesn’t seem that old any more.

No activity, lights or anyone visiting, at the house for the last three days now.

Normal ride today
well almost rode out to the half way point then just turned round and came back due to wind direction
anyway that means that when I get back to the T-junction on the canal I have to go over the canal bridge again
which is very steep and the climbs are about 45 degrees and made of rocks and brick help in by soil
so very bumpy and hard
anyway - the way back is worse - steeper and lumpier and with a gate halfway up with the gate bit broken off - but a narrow gap for teh handlebars
always pleased when I manage it without having to walk or anything
which I did today
but there was a bit when I pushed down on the pedal (standing up) just as the tyre bounced off a brick sticking up and the front wheel went airborne
which was a bit scary on a bumpy surface like that
anyway - I stayed on and got to the top
