Good morning from a cloudy Dorset. Might have a visit from our daughter as her car goes in for the MOT this morning. The garage is just around the corner as it was Mrs Tkk's car originally ( Toyota Yaris automatic )
Of course when Mrs Tkk gave the car to our daughter it also came with a lifetime parts and labour warranty which includes servicing and MOT costs. 🤔😁.

7.5 mile wander done. I think I'll have a nice soak in the tub now before breakfast.

Still knackered from my 2 1/2 hour trek across the Wareham heathlands. I was warned that it was a bit challenging but every step was through rough terrain with dips and the occasional rabbit hole. Socks were rolled up over trousers and were all nice and fluffy after being " combed " by the rough gorse. On the plus side I was fortunate to see one of the UK's rarest reptiles in its natural habitat.

Barnet,
God morning all from a grey and cloudy Barnet.
I woke up at 4am for some reason and got back to sleep around 6.
Our Daughter is coming this afternoon so I'm going to cook a cottage pie for tea.
That gives me a chance to get the bike out for a ride, stopping at the butcher on the way home. Our son is calling in tomorrow morning on his way to the Spurs v Aston Villa game, so whilst at the butcher I will also get sausages and bacon for a brunch.

As reported earlier this week Mrs P has proper flu. She is much better now but has a hacking cough. A little earlier I found her making a hot toddy...........with my 15 year old malt whisky. 😲😲😲 I will be buying a more suitable hot toddy whisky tomorrow!!

Apparently the hot toddy was very good.......I'm not surprised 🤣

Sure the answer is to buy yourself an 18+ yr old whisky 🫣
Upgrade opportunities don’t appear every day 🤪

Morning.
Oh dear, back to the grey and overcast with heavy rain on way.
Tons of stuff to do, I managed to fix lawnmower(I hope) as tried to cut cut grass but fuse went immediately. A bit of fault finding revealed a trapped wire which shorted it so that should be the problem so cut grass priority #1 before rain.
I need to rebuild bike so I can hopefully get a quick spin in again before rain.
PCs updated with latest as Windows 10 now no longer supported although I was able to enrol for another for free. Assume others here doing/done that.
Washing to go out once finished. Stack of stuff from holiday.
Speak to sister about parents stuff.
Sort out moles as a few hills have appeared again.

That's just top of the head list. All after just a week away!

Good morning. It's grey and muggy here. Mrs P is sat in bed chatting with our friend, our other friend is still sleeping. I've prepared several good breakfast options - I wish they'd all get up as I'm hungry.

Stretches and weights completed, pleased to have fitted these in with people staying over.

I'm not sure what today will bring, no doubt Mrs P has a plan.
