Just back from visiting my two brothers in Northampton, the traffic was an absolute nightmare last night, over two and half hours for a 45 mile journey, the roadworks at Towcester and Mereway are just really badly managed.

But a good evening, enjoyed a Chinese and a few beers at the Oriental Paradise in Billing, visited my step mother this morning in Weston Favell and now home finally putting my feet up.

4-0 for my team today.

I’ve had my tea early. Big ribeye steak and baked potato.

Well done on both counts Mo.

I've just made my very 1st ever turkey burgers. 3 have gone in the freezer and one will be eaten on Monday.
500 grm mince, chopped onion, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic and a bit of chilli powder.
TBH it was easier than I thought it would be.

They look lovely but if you’ve got to wait until Monday, I’d freeze them all. Think that’s too long to keep the mixture. Perhaps @Reynard would have a view on that?

Normally don't dip in here as I'm some way off being eligible.

Personally, I'd have frozen it, then defrosted as required. Otherwise, keep it in the coldest part of the fridge, or cook it now, and just warm up / poach it in a little bit of stock, which you can then thicken to make a nice gravy.

Always best to err on the side of caution with poultry.

P.S. If freezing burgers, waxed paper / silicone baking paper / cling film is better than foil, as it doesn't stick to the meat. And open freeze burgers prior to packaging (in plastic food bags) to avoid them sticking together in one big lump.

Spent the afternoon’ pimping my ride ‘ lol .

if not then I think I also made a small change to what I get notified about - try that before loggin out

still no idea why it changed

Must remember to do my watches tomorrow

I have 3 that I use so need doing
and 1 from my Dad which has a normal watch and a one for blind people so you press a button and it says the time - both of which are totally separate - which is just too complicated so I never use it

and one from my Grand Dad which is gold and quite old - before I was born
but is wind up but rather worn out
so I never use it

but I must remember to do the others
