Paul.
If you don't already do this..........
My grandchildren are 22, 25 and 30ish? now.
When the middle one was a toddler Sue started a diary of funny things he said or did.
Yesterday I 'found' the notes and thoroughly enjoyed re reading them.
I highly recommend this.
That's tremendous Dave. A new idea to me. This will start today with the first entry. #1 and I play "I spy something coloured...." so #1 said yellow. We were in the car at traffic lights. Granddad exhausted every possibility.

Granddad " I give up. What is it?"
#1 "I don't know. I haven't thought of anything yet!"

Good afternoon, was feeling knackered so Mrs Tkk suggested I go for a lie down while she tended the grandkids( exhausting morning in the park ). Just drifting off when my phone rang with my daughter enquiring how they were getting on.
Drited off again and my phone pinged with a message about the IKEA delivery. It's on silent now and I'm going to try again...

Why is it nigh on impossible to get the same repeat medication, from the same chemists these days?
Three years at the same chemists, 13 plus years on the same medication and dose. 2mg twice a day.

They were unable to get the medication in a 2mg size, so they ordered in 0.5mg of the same medication. But they can't give it me because the prescription states a dosage of 2mg twice a day. That would, and will mean that I'll be taking four tablets, not one each time. Easy do, and done often in the past, back to the doctors this morning to get another prescription for 0.5mg tablets. And having to explain why it was needed.

I feel your pain , one of my meds was out of stock for three months last year . ( It another up side of leaving the European medicine market. We are now a smaller consumer so less important to the big drugs company’s )
Sorry to be a pedant, but as I’ve had to listen to pharmacy problems for the last 35 years 😀, the pharmacist ALWAYS HAS TO prescribe what is on the prescription . The only leeway they have to give you a generic drug , which is the same drug made by a different manufacturer.
Hope you get it sorted soon .
