About 8-9 small birds have just been jumping around in the busg by the front window
It is a bit overgrown so we could see then otu of the window very clearly

we were talking about what they were - bit like small blue tits but with no blue

I was thinking about googling to try to find out what type they are

I was going to search for "small tits" - but maybe a better string migth give me the desired results for the situation!!

That’s just reminded me. I saw a Sparrow Hawk the other day and meant to Google when I got home to see how they got their name. Whether it was the colouring, or if maybe their diet consists of mainly sparrows. Off to Google.

Like a Blue tit but with no blue - Coal tit, or if it had a black head a Great tit?

I think most of the Tits are fairly obvious/different ie you are not going to mistake Blue Tits for Great or Long Taled Tits.
The only one I can think of that might confuse is Coal Tits. If you get a good look they have a definite white stripe down the back of thier heads.

Don't make the mistake I did with Sue......I was looking over into next doors garden and all I said was "tits like coconuts".

My festivities begin this week.Multiple outing for food and drink.i hope i feel happier by the end of the week and towards the middle of next week.As me and my mates celebrate our 19th Xmas dinner together.I have only missed one 2023 due to chemo.
