Morning folks bought a cheap dvd player a couple of years ago...and what a surprise its stopped working! anyhow as everybody knows the best way to fix delicate electricals is to bash them just like Basil Faulty would after a good thrashing said machine resumed working...but not for long, so onto ebay we go and buy another cheap dvd player!
Today i will be mostly walking the beach and because im dvd player less i shall be re-reading Mervyn Peakes 'Gormenghast'

Just watched the BBC lunch time news and it's all about horrific shooting in Australia.

This though was incredible, such bravery to disarm gunman. Not sure many would do this.

Cooooeeee. Another warm start. 10 deg here.

I was awake for ages but I was toasty warm in my bed. I bought a new winter duvet and put it on the bed yesterday. It was really warm.

Bank transfer......crazy problems.

I am with TSB and have no complaint re them having security checks. However, it does throw the occasional 'wobbler'.
So this morning......I am paying the CH engineer by transfer.
Log in...... no problem.
Security/memorable word..... no problem.
Then, right at the death it asks for my password. OK, I know what that is, it's my unique PW I keep for TSB.
Type it in and press confirm.......nothing. it doesn't accept it but just invites me to try again.
8 times, no success.
Got my daughter to try.... 3 times, nothing.
Decided on 1 more go and bingo! No explanation and I absolutely know i didn't make a mistake.
Bl**dy annoying.

Ring them ASAP - just in case "someone" has managed to get in and change it so only they know it!!!

We have the kids

they left 3 with us and there are 3 still here - I have not killed any of them

but it migth have been close a few times
I "had to have a word" with them - especially the middle one

after that they just needed reminding that there are rules!!
