As is Drago's.We don't have a specific day, whenever the sun is shining, unlike my old mum who always did her washing on a Monday. Tuesday was always the ironing day

We had the coal effect gas fire removed but kept the fireplace and tile surround. We were planning on fitting a realistic electric version but in the meantime got a cheapy £70 replica stove from Screwfix which slotted into the gap so we weren't looking at an empty hearth. We switch that on in the evenings without the heating option just for the flickering flame effect as it makes us feel warmer psychologially I suppose. We've been running the central heating continuously 24/7 since the 1st October, obviously it only comes on when needed but the whole house has been at a minimum of 21 degrees since then, apart from when I put it in " Holiday " mode for the 6 days we were away over Christmas.

Yer magazine rack is in a dangerous position! My cheapo from Aldi.

No worries about yer magazines and newspapers getting singed then.Nah. Its only flame effect. Heat is convected from the top.

Just to clarify..... my cleaner (usually) comes on Wednesday and as part of the routine I strip and wash the bedding.
Dark stuff is done as and when I deem it's needed.
Nice!
Can’t see how we get those stats from the app, but apparently I have a listening age of 37, so I’ll take that 🤪
Wouldn't it scare the cleaner less if you washed the bedding whilst dressed?
@Mo1959 in our local Coop there are some interesting looking ready meals, Indian styles in particular. Have you tried any?
