Evening folks im hoping this arctic blast isnt going to last, its getting to be a drag cant cycle or garden or walk far...went to do a beach stroll but the snow was too deep so i just waded, slipped and slithered around the estate. My wallflowers are submerged under a snow drift and can only see the top inch of roses i planted. I broke the ice on the bird bath at 10am and was frozen solid again by mid day!

Went back to bed for a cuddle with Bruce and to give my back a rest, but its still killing me. If I try to move in any direction it's agony.

I sleep on a camp mattress which has long lost any inflation on a wooden base, works for me

I really didn't want to be up yet. I woke earlier but managed to drift back to sleep.
Another cold day but rain is promised for pm.
Plenty of sport on tv so that my day sorted.
