Over the years i have found that i need 8 hours sleep. As ive got older that does vary but if i wake early i go back for 60-90 minutes mid morning.
So...... by going at 23.30 i missed early morning which is a favourite part of the day, especially on Saturday as 0600 is Sounds of the 60s.
Hope that makes sense.
It makes perfect sense . If it works for you that’s all that matters . 😀
Ive spent most of working life working shifts and the in retirement 11.30pm to 8.30 am sleep pattern seem to suit me best 😀. Not that I ever get 8 hours of sleep. 😂
I did evening shifts for the last decade finishing at 12.30am and that was ok, at least you started and finished at the same time and your body clock isn’t to far out of normal. Before that I spent 20 years doing 4 day weeks, double day shifts , week about . So one week I would be getting up at 4am to go to work and the next week I would be going to bed at 4am and in between ( Friday -Sunday ) trying to sleep normally. It really knocked you about , but the money was good 😀
