Ive just been on a shopping trip to the local pie shop. Its called To Pie For and has won lots of awards. Not particularly cheap but top quality.
I bought for the family but for me i got......
1 steak n peppercorn
1 chicken, ham n leek
1 steak n guiness.
They will freeze.

Daughter is mostly veggie so i got her a cheese, potato n onion.

For SiL its chicken madras
For grandson its 2 x steak.

I will have one later with chips and a bit of gravy......maybe some peas.
Mushy?

No, i dont have any mushy in the cupboard. But with gravy i am happy with garden.
Now, with fish, mushy are a must have.

I lime green tea but with me it acts as a powerful diuretic 🤔

According to the doctors & nurses at my hospital clinic, all teas and coffees are diuretic.

They won't let me count either as part of my 3 litres of fluid each day that is needed to flush my kidneys of gene therapy medication.

I have to confess to being a bit sceptical.

Our green bins restart in February I ithink - not for a few weeks anyway

On which subject - I was a wimp on Thursday
I KNEW the bin day was Friday - it is normally Thurdays but it was the tail end of the Christmas disruptions

but on Wednesday evening bins started to appear
Then on Thursday more appeared and it got worse during the day
so about Lunchtime I bowed to peer pressure and put ours out

Even though I had checked and knew it was not that day!!!

I felt annoyed at myself
but it would have been worse to have taken it out late Thursday night to find everyone else's had been emptied
which WAS NOT going to happen
but .......

This is why marketing and political parties work!!!

Over the years i have found that i need 8 hours sleep. As ive got older that does vary but if i wake early i go back for 60-90 minutes mid morning.
So...... by going at 23.30 i missed early morning which is a favourite part of the day, especially on Saturday as 0600 is Sounds of the 60s.
Hope that makes sense.

It makes perfect sense . If it works for you that’s all that matters . 😀

Ive spent most of working life working shifts and the in retirement 11.30pm to 8.30 am sleep pattern seem to suit me best 😀. Not that I ever get 8 hours of sleep. 😂

I did evening shifts for the last decade finishing at 12.30am and that was ok, at least you started and finished at the same time and your body clock isn’t to far out of normal. Before that I spent 20 years doing 4 day weeks, double day shifts , week about . So one week I would be getting up at 4am to go to work and the next week I would be going to bed at 4am and in between ( Friday -Sunday ) trying to sleep normally. It really knocked you about , but the money was good 😀

Just paid off our cruise and hotel/ carpark for next April and also just found out that the man next door has passed away.
I will be moving back into the house on Tuesday night as it should be finished then.

Must admit i read that wrong at first. What i read was...... ....
"The man next door has died, i will be moving back into the house on Tuesday".

Q. Was his death expected ? Sad in any event.
