Afternoon all from a damp Coventry .
Dave 7 isn’t the only one with car problems. I had my 308 serviced , MOT and had new rear brakes on Friday last week and now the Electronic handbrake has an intermittent fault on it . At the end of my journey it doesn’t want to come on all the time and at the start of my journey it doesn’t always want to release . So I suspect they have buggered up the ‘ power off, spring on ‘ hand brake mechanism on the rear brakes some how. I am not a happy boy ☹️. Phoned this morning and they said would have it back in tomorrow which is good but unfortunately it’s not convenient for me, so it going in Thursday . Fingers crossed it’s sorted quickly and cheaply .
Lucky I can use my daughters car for the next few days 😀
Nothing else exciting to report, just got some shopping and hoovering to do this afternoon.

On which topic
we need ours cleaned - if we leave it any longer Chris Packem will be round doing a documentary on how they are critical to supplying oxygen to combat Global Warming!!!

Anyway - apparently my wife's son has previously said he will come round and do them if I can get hold of a ladder and will hold the ladder
probably also stop the grand kids trying to climb it!!!

Personally I would rather have some professionals do it but anyway!

anyone know how much it generally costs to do 4 sides of a house??

I decided to do the Aldi shop. Glad I did as I've now got all my 'must do' jobs done. I fancy a real slob day tomorrow. I have some decent films recorded. I have some mixed olives, some nice blue cheese AND..........fruit scones, clotted cream and some special preserve (couldn't get strawberry) ......meal fit for a king.

My car is in the garage today, an intermittent starting problem which is probably the starter motor and or solenoid. Some years back it would of been a simple job that I could and have done on older style cars, but not with these new fangled automobiles.
A new battery was purchased 5 weeks back which initially cured the problem, but it started, excuse the pun, again last week.🤬

You are a good boy .

A better boy than me!

I must have anotehr go at that Health and Sfety course I was supposed to have done over 6 montsh ago!!

Ok I have an excuse - some of the question I do not agree with
and some I regard as discriminatory
Like
"If there was a serious accident at work which of the following would you NOT do

one of the options is
"Ring 909 for an ambulance"
In blue writing on a purple background

I am possibly a bit dyslexic and only noticed that it said 909 rather than 999 on my 4th try

and another that required you to memorise 4 different long titles of parliamentary bills - including the years
and work out which one they said was wrong
which I do not really need to know when all I do is get a computer/tablet/phone working for someone!!

anyway - less moaning
well done Drago!
