Good morning. Dark, cold and very blowy. Yesterday's ride must have been tough as my body is still tired but the good news is my legs feel great. Months of work have gone into rebuilding strength and my last two rides seem to have shown it's working. 👏

I’d like to do a bit more this year but there’s just no let up with this horrible weather. We appear to have rain/sleet every single day until at least the middle of the month.

I have (i think) just about woken up. Is it woken up or woke up ??
Temperature has dipped again, it's set to remain at 3° or 4° all day. Its easy to think we are leaving winter behind but we get some vicious Februaries.
Nowt to do today which suits my mood.

Morning.
Grey and windy(not me the weather) but dry.
Taking eldest to train station as she's back to London.
I'll be dropping books off at library and then getting a haircut at the barbers to make most of trip to town.
Exciting times...

#2SP today and I must dive off to get her. She's only 15 months and still needs a decent mid-morning nap........similar to her Granddad as he's only 861 months!!!! 😱 Put like that it doesn't seem long.

Rovers are at home. The coach charlatan got the boot yesterday. We travel to Ewood with high hopes this evening. Damien Johnson, youth coach, is a true Rover. He can do it for us.

I was reading through the " Ten talking points from the weekend action " article in the Guardian football coverage. Local team Bournemouth ( up the cherries! 🍒 ). The report on the Wolves game finished with " Bournemouth have signed a player the elite will soon enough covet, with the same going for Eli Junior Kroupi, scorer of Bournemouth’s excellent first goal.". Bournemouth are a great footballing side to watch, but it's frustrating knowing that the Dodgy oil state backed money clubs will soon come swooping to take our best players ( and Manager probably ).
