Morning all . No valentines cards/gifts have been exchanged in the exlaser household since 14/2/96 . As that was the date our daughter decided to be born . 😀. Re tradition we when out last night for a meal to celebrate.
More worrying is the fact I now have a daughter that’s 30 years old . How did that happy? 😀😂

I have just been offered and agreed to buy a new mobility scooter.
I am told it cost £3,500 when new. As so often sadly happens a guy bought it but popped his clogs without ever using it. His wife/widow wants rid so is only aking £300.
I have the older model which i will sell cheap so the new one will cost me C£200.
Just in time for spring.

I didn't have it done. As I say, he didn't fill me with confidence.
@PaulSB how do they do your conk ?

Did he cut your hair? I agree having confidence is very important. The £25 is about right.

It's done like this. There is a bowl of warm. liquid wax. I presume this is the same as used in women's salons. A standard cotton bud is dipped in the wax, removed, allowed to cool momentarily, the cotton bud is inserted in the nostril and gently moved around to make contact. A second bud is dipped and inserted in the same nostril. One bud presses upwards, the other down. This is repeated on the other nostril. The wax hardens and then both buds are removed with a single sharp downward tug. It sounds painful but isn't. Yes, there's a momentary sting sensation but it's like having a sticking plaster removed. Ripped off its hardly felt, slowly peeled off and it hurts.

The really good guys have a very clever trick for removing hair from the outer surface of the nose, the fleshy part. I only know one who does this. He makes a cat's cradle like thing with cotton and uses this like a pair of scissors to snip off the individual hairs

Waxing can cause ingrown hairs.............how would you deal with that ?

I’ve never provided flowers for Frau Fritz on Valentines… too expected, it’s far more effective to buy them for some random day. Then it means something.

But I did pick her up some Lego flowers, she laughed like hell!

I bought myself a Lego motorcycle while I was at it, to make up for my selling my bikes last summer after decades of riding. When did this stuff get so expensive!

fun though… you even have to build the chain.
