Good morning. A little snow overnight which has turned very light and cold drizzle. 70 - 90% rain all day. Outside is the last place I'd want to be today. Forecast is feels like -4⁰ at 8.00.........I'm not going to test that.

One of my buddies is riding a 200k audax. I've sent him a supportive message, though I think he's bonkers.

Decisions. Decisions. I'm going to make moussaka for tea but which recipe????? Then there's some ironing, hoovering and a trip to see my lad. Hopefully I'll get a gym session as well.

The other thing is Mrs P's Chromebook. It's a nice machine but after decades of Windows finding out how it works is proving tough. Mrs P wants to use MS Office. I would as well. Google of course don't like this. Working out the real basics like shortcuts, save as, create new folder is baffling. It shouldn't be but it is. I've totally failed so far.........and I don't like failing.

My laptop will need replacing in the next few months. I've seen enough to know it won't be a Chromebook.

I think I would struggle going back to a Windows operating system now after using a Mac for so long.

Yep, I completely get that. My experience with this Chromebook proves it to me. I quite literally cannot do the absolute basics. Name a file, create folders to place file into and even put a shortcut on the Desktop. Mrs P's lack of patience with this stuff means she'll never crack it on her own.

Absolute nightmare.

Morning.
Raining, who'd have thought.
Still, it was a lovely day yesterday so managed to squeeze a ride in which was good. I saw 4 other cyclists which is about number I'd expect on a weekend given so quiet here and all were wearing shorts(!). It was max of 5C so I was in bib tights and rest of winter kit. I know it was a sunny day and no wind but still it was cold!

Morning all :hello:

Rain again!
Off to the tip, then going for a walk on Staple Plain before having lunch at the Railway Inn.
Managed to get the front lawn cut yesterday; so much easier with the ride on mower.
