I have just put a huge, massive, ginormous humungous and big......chicken casserole on in the slow cooker.
I was thinking WoW I couldn't fit anything else in there.... then I noticed i hadn't put the celery in so had to chop that up.
Did I say, its a whoppy dopper.

Dinner round Davy Boy's house tonight! I'll bring the indigestion tablets.

Finally been out for a walk. Mostly dry apart from a short shower. Just so good to stretch the legs and get some fresh air after yesterday.

A friend of mine has just turned 88, has finally had his licence yanked by DVLA. He seemed a bit annoyed about it, which is odd because he only did about 1000-1200 miles a year. He cheered up somewhat when I went through the numbers and worked out what hed be saving on tax, insurance, fuel, maintenence, etc, each month.

My "Perpetual Headwind" weather vane took a hell of a beating in yesterday's wind, even after I added strengthening struts last time.
Maybe needs a rethink about materials / positioning.
