Slight fun this morning when we went shopping in town. Got home & MrsPete couldn't find her spectacles. (She was wearing sunglasses for driving) Search of the car. No joy. Headed back into town again to check where we parked, just in case... Cut it short; re-searched the car anf there they were, lurking in the boot 😂

Usually the male who cannot find things

Morning.
Very misty at present but due to be unbroken sunshine in an hour or so. Plan is good ride with a couple mates, 65miles is plan so that'll be longest so far this year.
I'm just wondering on clothing, definitely shorts so it's whether I go full on summer jersey as well. It's warm but not that warm.

My Bro worked for the NHS. When he retired they took him on part time on double what he had been earning full time.
This happens in other areas as well. A friend of mine works for a major multiple retailer. A while back and few weeks before Christmas of that year the entire management level which he was in was made redundant across all stores. Three weeks before Christmas he got a call, would he come back? Yes, he went back on reduced hours and an increased total salary. That worked well!

Good Morning. It's a beautiful day. Everything is on hold as I'm getting the bike out, after seven days of small people I'm wiped out. I love them to bits but I'm 71 not 41...........the last time I was at that level of child care! We're heading to the Ribble Valley, quite where is yet to be decided. Others in the mid-week group are heading off for hills around Skem ( that's Skelmersdale). Hills? Skem?? not often those words appear in the same sentence. Others are going to the flatlands of the mosses. The Cognescenti look at each other and ask "Why?" those are winter routes. Our experience is often praised but the moment we mention the beautiful rolling roads and countryside of the RV no one wants to know. "Can you send us a route?" "No, we make it up" "Oh, I like a route to know where I'm going" No sense of adventure.

We truly don't care!

I do wonder it I could make more money if they could trace those cars for me so I could sell them???

Yeah, I can see a flaw in this plan................

RIght - today then

Pharmacy was crammed with prescriptions yesterday so I could not get mine or my wife's

Mine can wait - I worry about things so always order witha few days in hand
"some other people" however do not do things that way

so I have to get down there when it opens and get at least hers

I also have to help someone with some computery thing - not sure what but Scams were mentioned

then I might see if a bike ride is possible - possibly involving shorts (calm down ladies!!)

Me neither
but apparently I am owed money for it !!

must be true as i have had several emails and a phone call

Yes, I must have had 6 different companies offering to check. I was tempted to try one just in case I have without realising.
You might recall that some years ago I was getting regular emails saying I was due a pension from a large group I have never worked for but they had my NI number etc. So, eventually I responded and ended up with L/S of (i think) £7K and I get £40 per week.... not to be sniffed at.

I decided on an early walk. Through the park then through the woodland, down a couple of country lanes and back via the park. 1.6 miles which I am extremely happy with.
A slice of toast with grilled cheese and tomato is calling, followed by a fruit yogurt.
