Approx where are you (i know its somewhere in Lancashire)
Ive noticed that ebiker seems to get different weather to me and we are maybe 10 miles apart. My Bro is on the Wirral and gets similar to me but maybe an hours difference.

The promised showers haven't arrived yet but its looking ominous.

We bought 2 more fruit trees while we were in the Metropolis. A golden delicious and a pear tree. We just finished planting them in the top field that makes 10 fruit trees, apple, pear, cherry and plums in the top field and 7 well established fruit trees, apples, pear, cooking apples, cherry and plum in the bottom field near the house.

Serious question........besides getting a serious case of the runs what do you do with all that fruit?

It does seem to be difficult working out what is best

I have to sort out an appointment with the doctor
lots of bits and pieces have changed and we need to sort it all out
nutrition is just part of it

I am in the middle fo putting together the text of what to say to him/her online to give them some background and details and make me/us a face-to-face appointment

when I say "us" I mean my wife will come with me - sometimes I miss things the dr says and she remembers
or she and notice things the Doc is getting wrong when I'm talking


anyway - better get that done!

I am back from the metropolis. Minus a fair bit of money as usual. Gorgeous day here

A nice area that.
TBH I'm planning my holiday and have 6 weeks free in July/August. Just a bed will do.
Oh, and breakfast.
Oh, and evening meal.
Oh, a packed lunch would be nice.
Not being picky here but ensuite is a must.

To be honest, the birds eat quite a lot of it especially the cherries. It's also taken years for the established trees to actually produce anything. Last year was the first time we got anything decent as late frosts tend to get the flowers and halt the trees from producing any or very little fruit.

WoW, I think I'll stick to Aldi

Bit of fun on the lathe this afternoon
making up some pressure rings for the clutch compressors. Took of about an hour to knock up half a dozen of them.
Will be able to finish off the tools tomorrow.
