Right - What year is it???

I'm asking because I have just got a letter from the Inland Revenue
and they have sent me a cheque!!!!

What on Earth am I supposed to do with that???
not seen one for a few decades or so!!!

Luckily I have a Santander account and - by some miracle - they still have a bran open on our high street
so I will go down there on Monday and see what you have to do with cheques

apart from registering them as an historic relic!!

ANZ bank here in Oz allows you to deposit cheques in their atms.

Morning. 5 degrees at the moment but to get quite warm this afternoon. I had thought about an early cycle but I just can’t muster the enthusiasm. Seriously thinking about getting rid of the bikes. Maybe just keep one for the rare occasion I fancy getting out.

Good morning from a chilly Dorset. Was planning on going for an early run before settling in to watch the London Marathon. Should be a close race this year with an excellent field. I've taken part a dozen or more times over the years and while it's a great occasion, the regimentation and faffing about for several hours before the off wasn't one of the things that I enjoyed.
Having said that, I wish all the participants and spectators a splendid day☀️😎👍

Thanks for the reminder. I know it’s on but for some reason it had slipped my mind this morning. I’d better head out soon and get a decent walk then I can get back, have breakfast and settle down to watch it.

It's 10 years since we went to see No 1 daughter jog past near The Monument.

My nephew is running for The Anthony Nolan charity today. 🏃‍♂️

All the usual things to do today, the washing machine is doing its stuff already and I'll be out with the dog soon.
I'll dip in and out of the Marathon and the bike racing. At some point I will go out on the bike for a while.
