If anyone is interested the LSAS in Prescot is having an open day

I did ask if my wife wanted to go

but she was not interested

it is the local nudist place for those that do not know

I do wonder about nudists in Prescot
I mean - Prescot
why not I suppose

but also

why Prescot????

Oh and good on them - do what feels right and all that
not for me but

6 here and going up to 13, it feels like we have had a long winter, mind you moving from a well insulated underfloor heated newish build to a hundred year old solid walled house might have contributed to that feeling. Take care and enjoy your day everyone.

Awoke to a drizzly Dorset. Not a lot planned, will go for a run/ walk then pop down to B+Q for a new watering can ( the rose broke, new rose £4, new watering can £5 )
Watched a short video last night with a Turkish chef demonstrating how to cook Halloumi " properly ", I have a block of the proper stuff in the fridge, so that's my next cooking experiment.

Yes - if anyone is in contact with him tell him we are thinking of him and wishing him well

It’s definitely quieter without him, I used to really enjoy his musings.

Barnet,
Good morning all.
A cloudy day in prospect with a breeze, so the washing machine is doing it's stuff st the moment.
Our Son is calling in today on his way to work, he is on a late shift this week, so no doubt he will want some food. He is a bit like Welshies bin but older.
I've been tracking my stolen phone, and although it is blocked, on Sunday it was in Bucharest.

Sunny here this morning, supposed to rain in about an hour or so but I'll believe it when I see it.

Have had a quick check of the two Stayers and Fairlight this morning; just some tyre checking/pumping,light cleaning and some headset adjustment on the All-Road which is also having it's Di2 battery topped up.

Also watered all the Ricinus as they were a bit dry.

Yesterday was mostly spent seed sowing and potting on in the greenhouse, walk to Tesco and a bit of chilling in the garden.
Also did some watering in the veg plot ; really, really need some rain!.The pond is going to need potting up again soon.

Morning all :hello:

Got to finish off repairing / servicing my neighbours Stihl lawnmower first thing. It's stopped driving the wheels. Had a look last night and I reckon I've figured out what's wrong with it. Should be a straightforward fix.
Off to the Post Office on my BSA later, then lunch at the Star.

Not sure i could ever go to one of them. I could try but think I would find it hard.
It would be so obvious that it was my first time, it would stick out a mile.
