Of course there are limits to the temperature you feel comfortable in cycling in , but these are in general are personal limits .
For me cycling in the low 30 degrees is ok as long as I am moving , the problems start when I stop and start melting 😂.
Re cold temperatures the limit is decided only by the clothes you own. I hate the cold and cycled to and from work in all weathers for 30 years and I think the coldest I ever cycled in was -18 degrees. . Was it pleasurable, not particularly but owning the right clothes made it perfectly comfortable and doable..

absolutely its about the right clothes, in the heat, stuff that wicks sweat so you dont feel like youre having a bath whilst riding is best, and just keep drinking water, more than you feel too, I time it to must drink every 30mins, but thats what works for me, and note it may not even be optimum, its just what works, but others maybe different, but its just dont be afraid to keep drinking in weather like this, if you run out, you can always find replenishment.

in the cold again its clothing, layering works better than one supposed does everything clothing, drinking is still important btw. But its really only ice that deters me from riding.

I woke up with Welshie.
Had coffee and a kitkat (for energy).
I am going to try a short stroll without my strollator, my balance is not right but its much better.
Its already 18°.
Have a good day peeps.

Back from my walk. Progress made as I doubled yesterday's distance AND did it without the stroller.
Sat in the lounge with patio door wide open. Listening to Tony Blackburn with 60s music.
I'm hungry but daughter always does a cooked breakfast. Problem is they dont eat till 10.30 and im hungry now.
No one understands my problems.

That's good progress Dave, keep up the good work 👍. With regard to the late breakfast, would a banana tide you over? Saturday is cooked breakfast day in the Tkk household, and I am the cook. I really enjoy it and having watched the " Fallow " restaurant YouTube channel I've been inspired to improve the presentation so it's a bit more than piling it on the plate 😁

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Another pottering day for me. I knitted a teddy bear for my granddaughter (28) 😆. She says its falling apart. I did use very fine fuzzy yarn so I am making a better one for her. All the pieces have been knitted, it's just a case of putting all the pieces together, stuffing it and sewing it all up so that's the job for today. I don't have proper eyes for it so buttons it is lol 😆

Good morning. Sun's out. Talking of cycling in hot weather, that's what I'm getting ready to do. Water bottles and electrolyte frozen, cooling towel prepped, and everything else is as normal. My only debate is whether to wear a base layer or not? I always wear a base layer and will probably feel uncomfortable without it so I'll probably err on the side of caution.

Must dash, the tomatoes need watering...............there taking up 4 litres per plant per day at the moment. The usual would be one litre, in warm weather two so you can see four litres is very much out of the ordinary.

Stay cool...................:becool:😎
