shocked to find he was 75 - my image of myself is "not exactly accurate" so seeing things like that is a bit of a shock!!!

Being in my 79th year, I am already depressed at the number of 1947ers who have made their exit, it is even more depressing when the 1951ers, begin leaving too! 😂

2.5 mile run done with Bruce. Weirdly, my lungs were raring to go but it was my legs struggling to keep going. Now decidedly rubbery feeling.

A decent sleep. I went to bed very early so knew it would be broken. Woke at 2 so got and listened to Gold radio till 3, went back and slept till 5.....so 7 hours total .

Good morning all.
Here we go again. Another day and all that.
Dog walk followed by breakfast. Sainsburys are delivering the weekly goodies between 9 and10 then I'll be out and about on the bike for a while.
I will pop into the Mitre for a couple of ales at lunchtime to get the latest gossip ftom the usual suspects.
Then it is the TT at the tour so a bit of armchair racing for me.

Just had the email. Passed my first year with a Merit. Not quite the Distinction id hoped for, although the OU thresholds are 10% higher than regular universities (83% would have been a Distinction anywhere else).

Still, a pass is a pass, so onwards and upwards! I can now relax for a few weeks before year 2 begins.
