Eventually got out and did my hilly walk. Tried a panorama on the phone but it looks a bit weird

I didn't know this. Thanks.

3 months from D.O.P.

Mrs SD changed a pair recently - after 6 weeks she could not get comfy with them. They offered an immediate refund or another pair. She chose the latter.

Last year a friend on the south coast purchased 2 pairs of half-frame glasses and after 2 months she decided that she hated the look. They swapped them for a different style with zero hassle - friend didn't want the offered refund.

Brilliant!

Thanks. This was just a normal shot. The snow on the opposite hills was looking lovely today. Just hope it stays up there!

Everybody, please be careful. Because of the mild winter our Welsh Dragons are hatching early. I found this young beauty in my garden today but only just avoided standing on it! Remember, they don’t turn red until they are mature! Thank you.

I really must make an appointment too. It’s been over 3 years and I feel my sight is deteriorating. We have a good local independent. Their frames are bloody pricy though. Most are around £300 for a bit of plastic. Hopefully, I can just keep the same frames and get new lenses. I had the start of cataracts at the last test which are maybe slightly worse I think. I know bright light really bothers me so I never drive at night or in low sun now. I barely drive much now anyway so it’s not much of a problem.

Mo I have the same cataract type diagnosis as you , I got tested in Dec 2021 and she told me . Its sunlight I must be wary of. I wear a peaked cap but the optician said the light gets in from the sides and wear a full rim hat . I wear sunglasses when out pretty much all the time. . My diagnosis was little dots of cataract spread out evenly in both eyes. I dont think my eyesight has got much worse in the last year . I will get tested again in March . I have trouble putting the key into the doorlock in the dark etc . I still drive in the dark but am very wary. I should watch the sugar intake. I have a smoothie maker and use spinach and kale and bananas etc. but I dont do it often enough. My son told me to get " blue light blockers " glasses for the telly and laptop. I will get them soon I think . The blue light blockers help you sleep better after a long bout of telly , they dont help the cataracts as such but they reduce eye fatigue significantly I am told.
