Good day, and I hope it will be. Dull and grey outside but I'm feeling pretty chirpy. @dave r every time I see that image it makes me laugh. Not unlike the two nuns in a bath joke.....................behave Paul.

Today. Done lots of very minor admin things already. Very tedious stuff. Plan for the day is breakfast, then an hours walk after which the real action begins. I'll drop my Cervelo off at the LBS for a pre-season health check as I can feel better weather approaching. With my pensioner buddies I'll stick with the Kinesis for the moment but when I go on the club weekend rides I need the extra edge she gives me. Then it's fence time, identified what I need in B&Q, first it's a trip to the local independent to check their prices and make a decision. I hope it's the independent but afraid on this one price makes a big difference.

#1 son home for tea. Looking forward to seeing him.

At one time our bins were always emptied early. Never see them before lunch time now.

They may well have changed the order in which they do the rounds. Ours used to be emptied early in the day, then it switched to lunchtime / early afternoon. On my early meanderings one day, I spotted our bin crew in a different part of the district. ( on our bin day )

This one was just 3 or 4 miles from us.
They have two 15 year olds (a boy and a girl) for it......how terrible.

Totally agree. They keep saying us oldies see the past with rose tinted glasses, but I can’t help thinking we all cared for each other and showed more respect thirty or forty years ago.

Dreadful news. I'm so glad I live in the middle of nowhere. I'm happy that I don't see another living soul from one end of the week to the other. I feel so sorry for people living in big towns and cities.

I agree but this is a quiet rural area where you would not expect it.
Warrington itself.......we have not had an evening in town for many years.....too dangerous imo.

Well that's a turnup. Following my earlier post regarding the scaffolding, a chap has turned up and is fitting battens to the structure of the building. Wooden cladding perhaps...
