A walk into Poole around the Bay. Collected train tickets from the machine on the platform before wandering down the High Street and back along the Quay. There was a rowing crew heading out from Poole Rowing Club and I took a photo of them as they rowed past a Navy Patrol vessel which is moored up at the working quay.
Popped in to the Poole Arms for an impromptu lunch accompanied by a pint of Great Bustard from Stonehenge Ales. The Poole Arms is one of the oldest pubs in Poole, there's a sign behind the bar that says " not serving chips since 1635 " 😎

Have finally decided on what airport and when to fly to southern Mexico. My son is buying my plane tickets and I will reimburse him. So I will fly out of Denver around 3/15 and return 2 weeks later. I have become tired of the weather here and a break sounds good. I have managed to avoid going to Oaxaca MX for 35 years but can no longer weasel out of it. As bizarre as it sounds, perhaps I will actually enjoy myself. My eldest son flies fairly frequently and a lot has changed since I last flew anywhere in 2011. Nice to have his help.

You'll be doing a "John Denver" from Denver then.
35 years is a fair stretch at being able to avoid somewhere.

And don't forget
