Afternoon for a cold and damp Coventry . Was saying it was 2 degrees when I went out earlier . It was snowing earlier but it now turned to rain but it’s still bitterly cold. I’ve spent the morning doing some paperwork concerning a pension( I will have to post a letter later) So I think the afternoon with be spent watching Netflix probably something light weight , the Witcher might fit the bill . 😀

Snow is nearly all gone now, but it is bloody :cold: out

Mrs G has been feeling a bit under the weather in the last two days so she decided to do a Covid test and guess what ? Yes , she has Covid so she is confined at home for the next 5 days and I hope I won't get it. We are both jabbed by the way .
Our son phoned earlier and he was sent home from work as he has Covid too. Might as well keep it in the family.
Apart from that, it is trying to snow at the moment and I think we may get up to a small blanket of white stuff tomorrow morning.

On a Zoom meeting at lunchtime with our Patient support group and the new Haematology consultant. Registration for a " Spring Booster " should commence the first week in April 💉

Switched the news off as I can’t be bothered with it these days. Who gives a feck what Gary Lineker has or hasn’t said. It’s bloody turning into a police state in this country

We've had snow, its looking like a winter wonderland now. My Good Ladies new wheelchair arrived dinner time, I only ordered it yesterday, its a bit of a beast, a heavy duty one thats a bit heavy but should cope better than our current one, that one is a bit light and fragile, its only ten months old and we've replaced castor wheels three times and need another replacement now.

When I was commuting I was always in my work clothes so I was rarely at flat chat, when I was overtaken it was often easy to speed up a bit and sit behind them, it was surprising how many would get about a hundred yards down the road then slow as they couldn't hold the pace.
One of my golden rules is never pass someone if you can't hold the pace. Always try to weigh up the rider in front before going by. Usually works but not always.

One time myself and a buddy where on a 4 mile hill climb with a segment halfway up and another at the end. As we finished the first segment I announced loudly "yes, that's a PB." The rider we had passed cruised by leaving us for dead as we strained every sinew chasing the second PB!!!! 🤣

Quite agree. I try to avoid Facebook "discussions" but got sucked in to one on this earlier today.

Went to Morrison's today. I don't often go to Morrison's. I may go more often. 👌
