We have not yet had any snow (apart from a tiny flurry yesterday). Not complaining though, I hate the stuff.
Gray and damp here with -1°.
Daughter is visiting at some time.
Highlight of the day..... blue bin is out.🙂

0 degrees here this morning.

Local weather forecast for snow to continue into Friday :cold: :cold:

Should have been going to Stoke today .

When I used to travel the M6 Stoke always attracted more snow than other areas.

Hello. Our weather warning has arrived. I'm not sure it qualifies as worthy of a warning of any colour or even a warning of any kind........more a look out the window and think it's a bit shite sort of weather. So with bugger all one can do outside I'm going to crack on with the housework. The forecast says we won't get a decent drying day till next Tuesday so I'll bite the bullet and use the tumble dryer. Once done I'll wrap up and head out for a walk.

When you know you've raised your son a true Rover. Couple of days ago it went like this via WhatsApp:

#1: "You thinking of going to Sheffield?"
Me: "No, thought I'd watch it on the box.........but if you're up for it??????"
#1: "I'll get back to you"
#1: "Yeah, think I might go but it's Mother's Day"
Me: "Forgot. I'll have to watch on the telly"

Last night Mrs P tells me delightedly #1 has invited us to eat in Manchester on the 19th. Excellent says I. Bit of a strange time though, 3.30 for 4.30 she says. Me: Hmmmmmmm

So kick off is 12.00. Match ends +/-13.50. Allow 45 minutes in case of extra time, 14.35. Drive time to Manchester 40 minutes. Arrive 15.15 with time to spare.

That's my boy. Watch the Rovers, extra time covered, Mum out to eat on Mother's Day. All bases covered!   All that remains is to win for the perfect day.....................COYB

I withdraw my comment.....we now have steady snow.
Because of our location we rarely get heavy snow but this is having a good try.

Snow here too
Did have some very light snow yesterday evening but not much
but trying to snow properly here now - has been for the last 2 hours but getting that hang of it now
car is covered as is the lawn but the flags/tarmac etc is still resisting

if we have snow then everywhere must be under it

wonder if I should go to the shed and get the sledge out????
(well - we do have the kids this afternoon - but I suspect it will never get thick enough to allow sledging!!!)
