The snow is now about 2 1/2 inches deep now.

29 years ago, I was walking on the moors above Hebden Bridge in knee deep snow.
Two weeks later we were up there again in near whiteout conditions. Then moved onto High Street in the Lake District, where it weren't quite as bad for a few days camping there.

Cancel the sun, we now have drizzle, but it's gone up to 10.4c

Today the culinary delight is braised steak, baked potatoes (done in the wood burner) lol 😆 egg and gravy.

Switched the news off as I can’t be bothered with it these days. Who gives a feck what Gary Lineker has or hasn’t said. It’s bloody turning into a police state in this country

Not watched the News on TV for years - too politically biased or correct, bad enough reading it let alone listening to it.

Just dipping into BBC, Sky & Reuters websites is enough for me.

Best not veer into NCAP other than saying that Linekar has abused his privileged employment position on more than one occasion and not just this time.

I've been for a run in the rain, it was lovely and refreshing. Anyone remember " Soap on a Rope " ? I thought I might have a crack at this " Multi - Tasking " that us males are not very good at.

Yup - rather predictable unfortunately - hence 'the other place'
