Do you know what 'type' of whisky he likes ie peaty, sweeter etc.

Not entirely, but I'm fairly sure I know what I like. I'm a bit torn. Our local offy sells some decent whisky. It's a 3.5 mile round trip walk. I should go out for a walk and it's now a beautiful day. On the other hand I spotted a bottle of Penderyn Legend in Morrison's yesterday. This is an outstanding Welsh whisky. I resisted.

Think I'll try the offy first...........

Morning all :hello:

The big day has finally arrived!
Just a few small jobs to do before the removals men turn up at 8.30 - 9.30 then it's all systems go.
All we want to do today is just to get everything dumped off at the new place and to get a bed assembled for tonight.
We'll start sorting things out at our leisure from tomorrow.
You done your final meter readings, turned off the lights, locked the back door and left something for the new owners?

Have fun.

Pleasant 4.5 miles wander done. It was lovely sauntering along the side of the river as it is sheltered and getting the sun. Stopped and watched a Woodpecker battering one of the trees searching for his breakfast. The legs felt slightly wobbly after a week of doing nothing but a few more gentle walks and I should be back to normal.

Mrs Tenkaykev and I both drink black coffee. I used to take sugar while Mrs TKK didn't. To avoid any mix up I would always sugar the cup on the left, and carry it in my left hand using the Mantra " Ros is always Right " 😄
"(Sugar)Less is always left."

Good morning all.
No snow, just rain, with more rain o
To follow.
The fortnightly Sainsbury's delivery is coming between 10 and 11 this morning.
A reduced meeting of the escape committee this afternoon at the Railway Bell we be had, one member is in Australia, and two others another can't make it. So just the three of us.

Oh, and by the way, its my birthday today. Finally made it to 65. I know I'm a youngster compared to some here, but I'm still feeling good, although the mind thinks it's still 25, the body sometimes reminds it that it's not.😄

Hope you move goes well @Dirk.

Enjoy your day everyone
Enjoy the day.
366 days until the next one. You'll not mind waiting the extra day will you?
