No. Surprising what people do leave in their cars though when they leave them for repair.
A friend of mine used to be a spanner jockey. They'd find all sorts. He once found a load of lesbian love letters which were quite pornographic. Quite a few cars would have small amounts of cannabis in the glovebox or ashtray, which he would steal on the basis that they weren't likely to call the dibble!

Morning all.
Went to bed early and promptly threw up.
Fortunately I had a bowl handy (from when it used to happen regularly).

Good day. It's still dark so I have no idea about the weather. The forecast is 60-80% chance of rain. I am supposed to be cycling so I put the chances of this at 20-40%. We will see. If I do go it will have to be the summer bike regardless of weather as both tubeless valves on the winter bike are gummed up and I can't get air in to them. Plan is to use the next two hours productively so it's ironing, dusting etc. hoovering if Mrs P wakes up, this means hoovering is unlikely. Oh yea at 8.15 I have to take the car for an inspection. Every so often when I brake there is a loud grinding noise but usually only the first 2-3 times I brake in journey. The garage reckon this is a small build up of rust during damp periods when the car hasn't been driven but agree we should have a look. It's been going on for a year or so, very infrequent, and as the garage say it's been MOTed twice in that period so either they completely missed something twice or it's a very minor problem.

We shall see. Right, my iron is calling! :hello:

Morning all :hello:

Finally got our bedroom knocked into shape and all my clothes sorted.
Next job is to sort out the garage and workshop to make room for the container load of stuff I'm bringing back from Barnstaple next Tuesday.
We're off down to Watchet market at lunchtime to meet up with mates for lunch.

Barnet,
Good morning all.
It's due to be sunny until this evening, and then the rain comes.
Sainsburys are due to deliver the fortnightly shopping order anytime soon
Then it will be breakfast and then out with the dog.
A bike ride will be partaken of at some point, with a pint or two in the Mitre at lunchtime. 🍺
Our daughter is calling in on her way home from work to keep an eye on us, so I am going to cook a roast chicken dinner.
Another busy day in paradise 😁
