I will Dave. Difficult as when I prattle on about our life....way back to 1966 its me that ends up blubbing. But I know she would do that and more for me.

Thats why I have not been on here much as I know I sound depressing.
APART FROM MY BREAD WHICH IS LOOKING VERY NICE 😀
Good enough to toast?

Salut. We left Tean at 8 am and were back home by 10 am , Car unloaded and needs a wash now. Washing machine on and every thing put away. I phoned two LBS to see how much they charge for trueing up the back wheel on my Specialized Elite . The first one quoted 20 pounds and the other one was 25 pounds. Guess which one I will take it to on Monday?
The weather here in North Wales is just like in Devon: sunny and blue sky.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Spaghetti and meatballs in a chilli tomatoe sauce.we don't have any normal tomatoes in sauce so the chili sauce will do. We've had it before and it's not bad.

I've been pottering in my workroom AKA 2nd bedroom  doing some decoupage. Looks crapat the moment but might be OK once it's finished.

Thinking of you
I went through thsi with my Dad some years ago

Just wanted to pass on something a nurse said to me - she said that hearing goes last and she suspected that even if they only hear in generalised ways that emotion and love may get through to some extent even if nothing else does

so even if it makes you blub it is not useless

only her opinion but I though it might be worth passing on
🤗

Can’t decide if I’m going out or not. It’s hot now, but next door are being their usual noisy selves so it would be nice to escape for an hour or two.

There in nothing worse then noisy neighbours. :cursing:
In my block we are all old and none of us makes any noise thank God

Several people/nurses have said that. Difficult to believe when there is zero reaction but lots of people do say it.

I don't think you sound depressing and I doubt anyone else does.

Tbh, you sound very composed to me.

Don't stop posting, you need outlets.

Daves been for another bimble, 24 miles on my Brinklow loop, my Good ladies carer was early this morning so took the opportunity after checking she was happy, a lovely bright fresh morning spoilt slightly by a cold strong breeze, I'm feeling more comfortable and not so tired this week though I did start to run out of legs as I rode past Coombe Abbey, something that lead to an embarrassingly low average speed, bikes now running lovely again after I sorted out the tight wheel bearing last week. But I'm unimpressed, I've been on the deck this morning, nothing serious, no damage to me or the bike, first time thats happened since 2015, slight rise at the end of Shilton lane and I left it too late to drop off the outer ring onto the inner, bike sucked its chain then unshipped it, I couldn't unclip fast enough and rolled into the scenery still attached to the bike. Despite the tumble I've had an enjoyable ride this morning.

That’s happened to me twice. If you happen to know the short hill as you come into Desford from Newbold Verdon past the cemetery I’ve stalled there both times due to being in the wrong gear
