A PLANE IS ON ITS WAY TO TORONTO , WHEN A BLONDE IN ECONOMY CLASS GETS UP AND MOVES TO THE FIRST CLASS SECTION AND SITS DOWN.
THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT WATCHES HER DO THIS AND ASKS TO SEE HER TICKET.
SHE THEN TELLS THE BLONDE THAT SHE PAID FOR ECONOMY CLASS AND THAT SHE WILL HAVE TO SIT IN THE BACK.
THE BLONDE REPLIES, "I'M BLONDE, I'M BEAUTIFUL, I'M GOING TO TORONTO AND I'M STAYING RIGHT HERE."
THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT GOES INTO THE COCKPIT AND TELLS THE PILOT AND THE CO-PILOT THAT THERE IS A BLONDE BIMBO SITTING IN FIRST CLASS, THAT BELONGS IN ECONOMY AND WON'T MOVE BACK TO HER SEAT.
THE CO-PILOT GOES BACK TO THE BLONDE AND TRIES TO EXPLAIN THAT BECAUSE SHE ONLY PAID FOR ECONOMY SHE WILL HAVE TO LEAVE AND RETURN TO HER SEAT.
THE BLONDE REPLIES, "I'M BLONDE, I'M BEAUTIFUL, I'M GOING TO TORONTO AND I'M STAYING RIGHT HERE."
THE CO-PILOT TELLS THE PILOT THAT HE PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE THE POLICE WAITING WHEN THEY LAND TO ARREST THIS BLONDE WOMAN WHO WON'T LISTEN TO REASON.
THE PILOT SAYS, "YOU SAY SHE IS A BLONDE? I'LL
HANDLE THIS, I'M MARRIED TO A BLONDE. I SPEAK BLONDE."
HE GOES BACK TO THE BLONDE AND WHISPERS IN HER EAR, AND SHE SAYS, "OH, I'M SORRY." AND GETS UP AND GOES BACK TO HER SEAT IN ECONOMY.
THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT AND CO-PILOT ARE AMAZED AND ASKED HIM WHAT HE SAID TO MAKE HER MOVE WITHOUT ANY FUSS.
"I TOLD HER, 'FIRST CLASS ISN'T GOING TO TORONTO."

The skirt test?

My first real test involving a skirt was a v.short patchwork suede affair - monumentally forgettable in retrospect but as a 15 year old I was rather chuffed at the time.

Hardly glory days in those teenage years.

Mrs SD once famously described her teenage years as "no money and *hit sex" - probably hits the nail on the head for most of us. NB: nothing to do with me on either count! ^_^

I have met Squirrel Nutkin. Quite wonderful. Headed out for a brisk walk and on my return stopped outside the lodge to do my morning stretches. I spotted a red squirrel on the road perhaps 10' away. I stood still, he/she walked down our path, stopped and sniffed my boot before wandering by. Literally 2" away. Clearly they're very tame but still a privilege to see this beautiful little creature so near. Two more dropped by in the space of ten minutes, they were shy and skirted round by 3'.

Are you sure it wasn’t one of those animal spy camera things the BBC in their nature programs 🐿🐿🐿🐿

I've only seen one red squirrel in my life, it was on the Isle of Wight at a sun club

I haven't posted for a few days because we have been on a "small boat" cruise around the Isle of Mull
included Fingal's Cave and several other features close by
ALl the time living on a small boat (more like very small ship) that used to be a long range lifeboat/rescue craft

3 crew - skipper, cook/chef and 'Bosun' aka deck hand and general "do everything else" person

absolutely great holiday!!!

saw amazing scenery that can only be seen from the sea and visited a lot of deserted anchorages - and saw loads of wildlife

Only 8 passengers - max capacity! - and everyone got on well

anyway - came back last night and very glad to get back to our own bed - the cabons are quite small (i.e. very small) and, although the beds were comfortable, sleeping was a problems due to the temperature and worry about falling out!

Anyway - we will be returning!

I am pretty sure that is were @oldwheels is based.
It is beautiful. We enjoyed a weeks birdwatching holiday there.
I also enjoyed a SCUBA** diving trip there.
