I must resist your titillations......
Double egg, chips and a barm for me.

Just beans on toast for me. Never get tired of that anyway

Not much to do today due to rain.Decided to watch the TDF on channel 4 Boring commentary racing not very exciting.Changed over to Eurosport.thought the commentary might have been a bit more interesting No.Switched off after one hour.

To think I religiously used to watch three weeks of the TDF

I will now go and wash the lunch pots and then do a bit of channel hopping to see if i can find something to keep me amused this wet and dreary Saturday afternoon ☹️☹️☹️

Seeing friends this weekend for fun and mayhem.

Went to see Ziggy last night at the flicks - very good with some excellent driving beats from Ronson and Geoff Beck (guesting).

Mrs SD was bopping along with a lady in the next seat - fun to watch!

Great performance of Lou Reed's White Light, White Heat. Bonus!

Very raw, typical 70's sound quality - you get used to the more polished production of latter day tracks I guess.

I had forgotten how emaciated Bowie looked and was amazed how his androgenous (not my thing tbh) look was half a century ahead of its time.

Good stuff - had a blast of a late-nighter when we got home.

As an aside we met a couple at the cinema who were in their 80's and they are much like us two - partying all the way to the grave.

They go to Glastonbury every year, saw Spingsteen recently plus back to the cinema next week for the Metallica movie.

Big Zep, Sabbath, Purple fans too.

We love people like this.

I'm currently on a bit of a health kick trying to cut back on using things with nasty chemicals so just did my first wash with my new washing powder. I was a bit worried my exercise gear might still have some lingering whiffs, but seems absolutely fine. I just went for the unscented one so not even any perfumes in it.

I've been using natural deodorant and body wash and shampoo with no nasties in it too.

Well that is a bit disappointing @Mo1959 , when I read the text, and, saw you had a photograph, I was expecting to see you in the bath, surrounded by soap suds and bubbles, not a photograph of a bag of washing powder, even if it is "nasty free" ;)

Oh good Lord. Three young guns and me turned out. We agreed a shorter ride with "a bit of pace" would be a good plan. It was as we finished just as the rain began.

Now "a bit of pace" hmmmmmm........well I did some turns on the front but mainly hugged wheels. I did mention to the lads "you're probably 35 years younger than me." I even chucked in a remark about being 69. At the finish 50 miles at 17.1avg. By the time I got home I was on 56 miles and 16.3..........and it rained on me. I'm pleased but really rather tired.

It's strangely quiet here. I can't hear that July background thwack........Mrs P has gone out and I've turned the bloody tennis off.

Family day tomorrow so I now need to start tidying round the place.
