I rode to see the airshow and got back in the rain. 49 kms done . Rhyl was packed with thousands of people so navigating the bike on the bike path was quite challenging.

I think I already said that before but our path must have crossed before as I did a fair bit of supply teaching at the old Rhyl High school. I do some invigilating at the new school now.
When I was nearly back home, I passed 4 or 5 youngsters walking on the pavement. One of them said: " Carry on biking mate...............dickhead. " Shocking behaviour I say.

At prep school I was about 12 when I gobbed off to a PE teacher and got a fist in my ear by way of reward. I didn't do that again! The infantry was a piece of cake in comparison.

Good morning folks,
Slept through until 7:00. A busy day with our granddaughter's belated birthday celebration to attend. It's a nice sunny day so we could walk to the beach ( daughter has borrowed her friend's beach hut ) or get an open topped bus. 🤔

Its a bank holiday so I have awarded myself a day's extra holiday.
A good kip was enjoyed last night.

Might have a trip to the tip later to dump some garden waste.

Any bloke whos quantocks are big enough to walk on AND pass garden waste when you have a dump has serious issues.
