Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I am leaning towards omelette with ham, cheese and onion. On toast as I've had enough of chips.

Same here. I'm not overkeen on chips anyway unlike Mr WD, but thank god we are having mashed today lol

Afternoon folks ^_^ a 15mph westerly today which equates to a headwind all the way to my favourite hill and then a tailwind back home like a rocket. I dont like it the other way round ie an easy ride out and a grind home....that feels like being paid for a job i havent done yet :okay:

Been suffering from some left knee pain for a couple of weeks - I think a combination of overdoing some leg work on my gym and a slip in the garden.

Had 10 days rest from everything and feeling better.

Today, went on a modest 5 mile walk from Kendal town centre followed by a nice coffee in our fave coffee shop (local not chain).

Knee felt ok, but will have to take it easy for a while.

Back from the Beach. We caught the open top tourist bus past Poole Park through Lilliput and over evening hill down to Shore Road, a shortcut through the dunes and we were on the beach. Granddaughter and friends had a hoot of a time, in and out of the sea, digging holes and making sandcastles. We were a bit frazzled after all the playing and supervising so stopped off at the Barking Cat for a pint on the way home 🍺🍺
