I have never had a dog (or a cat).

My daughter has 3 dogs and a cat. None of them have ever set foot in our house.
If/when this house becomes the daughters then I will have to adjust to the animals.
It will be interesting to say the least 🙂

Don't like Dogs or cats.

Certainly would not share the house with one.

Daughter No3 and Son No1 both have dogs, they do occasionally visit, with dog in tow, I don't like it, but, grin and bear it for the sake of family peace.

I avoid that problem by drying myself on the bed sheets.

We have always had a rescue dog.
After a short mourning period after it's demise we adopt another.
Our last two have been rescue Greys.
A dog gets me out of the house in most weather conditions which is good for both me and the dod.

Cooooeoeee. Dark, gloomy and raining here, abs the forecast is for rain for most of the day.

So a slobbing day for me. I am expecting some fabric as well so if it comes I will be playing in my workroom again.

Our family ie daughter and SiL etc. have long been dog/cat people but always knew that........
None of their pets ever (spelled EVER) came into our house.
We never 'pet sat'.
But whats that phrase.....Desperate needs call for desperate measures.

Distinctly Autumnal here this morning.
I'm thinking of buying a motorbike again. Nothing fancy or too modern. Got my eye on a 350 AJS that's up for sale locally.
